St. Margarets Anglican Church

This perfectly placed quaint blue and white church, named after St. Margaret of Antioch, was established on April 13, 1848. St. Margaret’s Anglican Church is located, top of the hill in Harts, Exuma, just behind the villas.

Cocoplum Beach

One of Exuma’s most popular beaches is Cocoplum Beach. It has a naturally occurring sand bar where you can find washed up treasures such as sand dollars and starfish. You will not find a more beautiful beach than this!

Pompey

Statue & Jail House

Visit the Pompey Statue in Steventon and learn about one of Exuma’s first heroes. Pompey was a run-away slave from the 1800s. When threatened to be separated from their families by a forced relocation to Cat Island, he led a group of renegade slaves who fought to remain together on their beloved Exuma. To commemorate Pompey and his heroic acts, an annual Pompey Scholarship is awarded to students to further their education in colleges and universities abroad. The annual Run for Pompey race takes place in Steventon, Exuma, which celebrates his life of bravery.
